Sony Receives Conditional Approval from OCC to Launch Stablecoin Trust Bank in 2027

Sony has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a national trust bank, planning to launch Connectia Trust in 2027, focusing on the issuance and management of USD stablecoins. This trust subsidiary is part of Sony Financial Group, with a capital of $40 million.
