Iran: US destroyer turned back from the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian warning
According to CCTV News, on the 11th local time, Iran stated that a U.S. destroyer was detected sailing from the port of Fujairah in the UAE towards the Strait of Hormuz. After closely monitoring its movements, the Iranian armed forces immediately informed the Iranian delegation negotiating in Pakistan.
The delegation then conveyed their relevant position to the U.S. side through a Pakistani mediator and issued a clear warning to the destroyer: if it continued to approach the Strait of Hormuz, it would be struck within 30 minutes, and the negotiations would also be affected. Due to the resolute response from the Iranian armed forces and the timely warning from the negotiation team, the U.S. side ultimately ordered the destroyer to stop advancing and turn back.
